I am a student in the Uru Mānuka Cluster. I am a Year 5 student and my teacher is Mrs Mclachlan. This is a place where I will share my learning. Please note that some of it will not be complete, it will be my first drafts. Remember to be positive, thoughtful and helpful when you leave me a comment.

I think… children shouldn’t be banned from watching tv Because… there will be new series and movies coming out. My evidence:Tv should not be band As a short punishment yes, But longterm NO- Tv is important in the life of a modern child, Parents may think its bad and useless and rots the brain but the truth is tv is a source of imagination, Inspiration and creation, You just need to teach your child the difference from real and fake- right and wrong- if you see behavioural changes ask your kid what they are watching and watch some of it with them if they allow you to if they don't then watch some of it yourself. I think… parents spend too much time on their phones Because… they spend too much time on their phone for hours. My evidence:Of the more than 3,600 US parents surveyed in March this year, nearly 6 in 10 (56%) said they spend too much time on their smartphone, compared to the 36% who think they spend about the right amount of time on their device. I think… mathematics is the hardest subject Because… Some of them are hard like division, times table and fraction. My evidence:A new survey revealed that at least 89 per cent parents feel that Mathematics is the toughest subject their kids study. Source:Link |

To support my learning I ask you to comment as follows:
1. Something positive - something you like about what I have shared.
2. Thoughtful - A sentence to let us know you actually read/watched or listened to what I had to say
3. Something thoughtful - how have you connected with my learning? Give me some ideas for next time or ask me a question.
Kia ora Tyrone,
ReplyDeleteIt is great to have you sharing your mahi with us on your blog. The evidence you have used is great as it supports your statements and reasons well. What is your favourite subject at school?
